The RIFT Mobile Authenticator is an optional application that provides an additional layer of authentication for your Trion account and helps prevent unauthorized account usage.
Once you've downloaded the RIFT Mobile Authenticator from the iTunes® store, Google Play, or Windows® Phone Marketplace, installed it on your mobile device, and synced it with your account, simply run the authenticator app and enter the code along with your username and password when you log in to RIFT.
Run the RIFT Mobile Authenticator.
Enter the authentication code and log in.
It's that simple. Now here's how to set up the RIFT Mobile Authenticator:
- Download the RIFT Mobile Authenticator.
- Install and run the Authenticator to obtain a unique serial key that will allow you to link the application to your RIFT Account.
- Sign in to your Trion Worlds account and click the "Authenticator" link under the "Account Summary" section of your dashboard.
- Enter the unique serial key generated by the Authenticator in the indicated field, complete the rest of the form, and click "Apply Serial Key".
And that’s all! Just run the RIFT Mobile Authenticator each time as you enter your login credentials to obtain your access code.

REMOVING YOUR RIFT MOBILE AUTHENTICATOR
NOTE: Be sure to remove the RIFT Mobile Authenticator from your Trion Worlds account before uninstalling it from your mobile device. You can remove your authenticator by visiting the "Authenticator" page in the Trion Worlds Account Center and following the instructions there.
If you remove the authenticator application from your mobile device while it is still linked, you will be temporarily unable to log in to RIFT or sign in to your Trion Worlds account. Please re-install your Mobile Authenticator app and select "Restore Lost Serial Key" to regain access to your account, then sign in to the Trion Worlds Account Center and follow the instructions listed under your "Authenticator" link.
